About the role

This position is for a payroll specialist who will act as the country-level subject matter expert for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. The role is focused on keeping Strada Pay compliant, efficient, and aligned with local regulations while also helping shape product improvements and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the main payroll authority for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, with strong knowledge of local laws, tax rules, and compliance obligations.
  • Track future regulatory updates by coordinating with compliance alert teams, professional bodies such as payroll associations, and official government sources.
  • Work with the product development team to influence the roadmap and keep country-specific features current.
  • Keep country workbooks updated with legislative changes and new compliance requirements.
  • Review payroll processes and propose improvements that reduce manual effort and remove inefficiencies.
  • Help evolve Strada Pay by improving functionality, cost efficiency, and user experience for local market needs.
  • Lead ongoing improvement efforts for country-specific methodology, delivery practices, templates, and standards.
  • Provide expert input to project teams during client implementations to support smooth operational handover.
  • Review and control client customization requests while balancing standardization, compliance, and innovation.
  • Support pre-sales discussions by presenting Strada Pay capabilities, sharing practical insights, and highlighting best practices.
  • Coordinate with other country champions to exchange knowledge and maintain global consistency.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll or HR outsourcing.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll operations, regulations, and compliance in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Accountable, service-focused, and able to take ownership of outcomes.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-moving global environment.
  • Capable of working independently, collaboratively, and across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Holds a 3-year degree or diploma.
