Overview
This role is based at the Augusta facility and is scheduled as a full-time position with five 8-hour shifts each week. The schedule includes working every other weekend.
Role summary
The Patient Transporter supports patient movement across the hospital campus, helping transfers happen safely, promptly, and in a way that keeps patient flow running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Move patients between areas of the hospital campus in a manner that is safe, timely, and supportive of efficient patient flow.
Qualifications
Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience: No prior work experience is required.
Licenses and certifications: HeartSaver CPR AED or BLS training must be obtained upon hire.
