Role overview

The Patient Care Coordinator / Guest Relation Executive is responsible for guiding patients through every stage of their hospital journey, making sure their experience is smooth, organized, and handled with care. This role connects patients, their families, clinical teams, and other departments so that service needs are addressed promptly and in line with healthcare quality standards.

What you will do

  • Serve as the main point of contact between patients, families, and hospital teams to resolve concerns and improve the overall experience.
  • Respond quickly to patient grievances and complaints, and escalate matters when required.
  • Explain hospital processes, service offerings, patient rights, and patient responsibilities to patients and their relatives.
  • Coordinate patient queues so waiting times are kept to a minimum and care delivery stays efficient.
  • Support smooth patient movement across the hospital floor and help ensure services are delivered on time.
  • Assist with administrative work such as booking appointments and handling registrations.
  • Keep patient satisfaction high by interacting in a professional, caring, and attentive manner at all times.
  • Help maintain communication between doctors, care teams, and patients to support treatment continuity and follow-up.
  • Track operational concerns and report them to senior leadership without delay.
  • Follow up with patients in a timely way to support quick discharge processing and collect feedback for service improvement.
  • Visit patient rooms to gather feedback on services, staff conduct, and food quality, while also helping maintain floor hygiene to reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infection.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should have a graduation degree in any stream and at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in patient services or clinical coordination. A hospital, hospitality, diploma, or other relevant qualification will be an advantage.
