Pastry Chef & Baker (Cakes and Desserts)

Role Overview

An opportunity is open for a Pastry Chef and Baker to join a creative baking team in Kado Estate, Abuja. The position focuses on producing cakes, desserts, pastries, and related baked items for everyday orders as well as special events.

Key Responsibilities

• Mix, bake, finish, and decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and other dessert items.
• Design and produce custom cakes and dessert arrangements for birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations.
• Maintain a high and consistent standard in flavour, texture, and visual presentation across all products.
• Keep the workspace clean and follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
• Handle ingredient prep, storage, and stock management in an organized manner.
• Contribute fresh dessert ideas and support new menu development.
• Complete customer orders accurately and deliver them within the required timeline.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience working as a pastry chef or baker.
• Ability to prepare a broad range of cakes, pastries, and desserts.
• Strong skills in cake decoration and attractive food presentation.
• A creative mindset with a responsible and disciplined approach to work.
• Positive attitude and strong overall work ethic.
• Capability to stay effective under pressure and work to deadlines.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards will be an advantage.

Additional Information

• Work location: Kado Estate, Abuja, Nigeria.
• Monthly pay: ₦110,000.
• This is a full-time, on-site position.
