The Host is a key front-of-house presence and acts as the first person customers, tenants, and visitors meet. The role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people, forming strong working relationships, and creating a welcoming experience. Candidates with hospitality, retail, or cabin crew backgrounds are especially encouraged because the role calls for a naturally personable approach.

- Oversee meeting rooms, co-working areas, lounges, and other shared spaces, keeping them presentable and supporting food and beverage service where needed.
- Balance desk-based duties with time spent engaging directly with customers.
- Gather customer insights and keep internal systems updated to assist sales and retention activity.
- Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and other Bruntwood departments.
- Act as a positive example and encourage wellbeing in the workplace.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by simplifying processes, saving time, and adding value for customers.
- Bring energy, drive, and initiative to support colleagues and deliver strong service.
Requirements
- A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to handle a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to go beyond expectations for customers.
- Previous administrative experience, including handling a daily enquiries mailbox.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, people-focused manner.
- Background in hospitality, retail, or another service-led sector.
- The ability to maintain energy and positivity throughout the working day.

- Work with a friendly, experienced, and enthusiastic team.
- Play a part in shaping the company’s growth and direction.
- Enjoy a varied role with new challenges and opportunities to learn.
- Career progression opportunities within a growing business.
- 28 days’ holiday plus your birthday off, with the option to buy and sell holidays.
- 24 hours of volunteer time each year.
- Opportunity to take a sabbatical of up to 12 months after five years of service.
