Job Overview
A café located in front of Asquith station (near Hornsby, NSW) is seeking a versatile barista to join their team. This role involves serving Japanese-inspired coffee and dishes Monday through Friday.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Workdays: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (closing time)
- Wages range from $28 to $30 per hour, determined by performance
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of barista experience, including proficiency in latte art
- Ability to use La Marzocco espresso machines with two groups
- Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency necessary for the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems and prepare ice drinks as part of service duties
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude, quick learning ability, and efficient work pace
