Part-Time Cast Member

About the Role

We are seeking passionate Cast Members to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working a minimum of 16 hours per week. As a Cast Member, you will play a key role in creating enchanting experiences for our Guests by sharing engaging stories and offering quality, innovative products that cater to their needs. Your service will aim to surpass Guest expectations by ensuring every visit is unique and memorable, all while upholding the Disney brand's integrity and maintaining personal grooming standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively uphold Disney brand standards throughout the Store.
• Maintain a tidy and well-organized environment both on the sales floor and behind the scenes to showcase products clearly and ensure availability for replenishment.
• Support the creation and maintenance of visual merchandising standards to provide an exceptional Store atmosphere.
• Ensure all new merchandise is displayed to offer Guests the latest selections.
• Assist with receiving stock deliveries and replenishing inventory according to agreed standards.
• Participate in promotional markdowns, event setups, and stage displays.
• Achieve financial and productivity goals by applying effective Guest service techniques and actions.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time to work efficiently.
• Greet each Guest warmly with a smile and eye contact, guiding them through the sales experience.
• Execute cash register transactions correctly, following standard operating procedures to protect company assets, including handling cash and cards.

Candidate Requirements

• Genuine enthusiasm for engaging with Guests of all ages.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize both Guests and tasks effectively.
• Retail or customer service experience in sales is preferred; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts and days as required.
• Willingness to assist with store events, whether scripted or unscripted.
• Understanding of store commercial objectives and daily performance goals such as talk-ups, customer engagement, and increasing basket size.
• Commitment to cleanliness and housekeeping duties in all areas of the Store.
• Efficient time management and excellent organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work well within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to diverse guest needs.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Capacity to learn detailed product and franchise information.
• Basic visual merchandising skills, with training offered.
• Ability to handle cash and operate till/card transactions, with training provided.
• Integrity in managing discount eligibility verifications.
