Role overview
We are recruiting for a well-established midlands-based practice in County Cavan that delivers a broad range of accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services to businesses and private clients. Key duties
- Prepare financial statements with support from senior colleagues or managers.
- Compile working papers in line with the firm’s internal processes and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients to collect information, answer queries, and strengthen working relationships.
- Support the planning, delivery, and finalisation of assignments across a varied client portfolio.
- Work closely with the wider team across several concurrent projects.
- Organise and prioritise your workload so deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Candidate profile
- You should be part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- A background of 1 to 3+ years in an accounting firm or practice setting is preferred.
- You need a solid grasp of core accounting principles and audit processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for dealing with clients and colleagues.
- You must be comfortable handling multiple tasks and working to tight timelines.
