About the Role
A prominent London architecture firm is looking to add a skilled Part II Architectural Assistant to its expanding team. This role offers involvement in a wide range of projects, including residential, workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, and refurbishment sectors, collaborating closely with seasoned architects and designers from initial concept stages to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to design and technical development of projects across all RIBA stages.
- Create detailed architectural drawings, BIM models, and presentation outputs utilizing Revit software.
- Support preparation of planning applications and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with project architects, consultants, and external stakeholders to ensure project coordination.
- Prepare client and planning submission materials including presentations, reports, and visuals.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and design review sessions as required.
- Engage actively in design discussions and evolution of project concepts.
- Assist in adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- RIBA Part II architectural qualification.
- At least one year of post-Part II experience within a UK architectural practice.
- Proficient in Revit and comfortable operating in BIM environments.
- Strong skills in design, technical drawing, and presentations.
- Experience preparing planning and technical drawing packages.
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Desirable:
- Experience in residential, workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, or refurbishment projects.
- Familiarity with UK planning procedures and project delivery cycles.
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Enscape software.
- Aspired progression toward Part III qualification.
