About the Position
An internationally accredited healthcare institution in the UAE is expanding its multidisciplinary pain management services, including interventional procedures and rehabilitation. We seek a highly experienced Pain Medicine Consultant to join a growing clinical team. Role Overview
This position involves working within a multidisciplinary environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, and advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage various pain conditions including acute, chronic, cancer-associated, neuropathic, and musculoskeletal pain.
- Perform image-guided interventions such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, and joint procedures.
- Formulate multimodal pain management plans integrating medication optimization, rehabilitation, psychological support, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with orthopedics, neurology, oncology, rheumatology, and rehabilitation departments to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Provide patient education on long-term pain control strategies, functional recovery, and safe use of analgesics.
- Ensure adherence to high standards in obtaining consent, documentation, procedural safety, and outcome monitoring.
Candidate Requirements

- American Board certification including Pain Medicine fellowship.
- UK CCT with Pain Medicine accreditation.
- FRCA / FFPMRCA or equivalent certifications.
- European Diploma or recognized pain fellowship.
- Royal College Certification from Canada.
- Australian Fellowship with pain subspecialty training.
- Arab Board or equivalent recognized specialist credentials.
Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, Middle East, Africa, and South America are welcome, subject to eligibility for UAE licensure and facility credentialing.
