Black Frame, an early-stage music technology startup located in San Francisco, is seeking a paid social media intern. This opportunity involves creating engaging content specifically tailored for Instagram and TikTok platforms with a focus on short-form video that reflects music and internet culture. The selected candidate will be responsible for transforming rough ideas into polished social media posts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative video concepts suitable for social media channels.
- Film demonstrations of products and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Edit videos to produce Reels and TikTok content aligned with current trends.
- Create engaging captions to accompany posts.
- Monitor and track social media trends to keep content relevant.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule to maximize audience engagement.
- Analyze post-performance metrics to optimize future content.
- Appear on camera occasionally if comfortable with on-screen presence.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Experience creating or editing short-form social media videos.
- Strong sense of pacing, framing, and sound design.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with music production or digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Ableton or Logic is advantageous.
- Open to current students, recent graduates, or those in the early stages of their creative careers.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role requiring presence at the SoMa office in San Francisco one to two days per week.
