About the Role

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team for overnight shifts in Lindsay/Peterborough, Ontario. In this role, you will provide essential care and companionship to clients during nighttime hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while supporting their bedtime routines.

Compensation and Benefits

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with their evening hygiene and preparing them for bedtime.
• Providing overnight supervision and attending to client needs as they arise.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and toileting during nighttime hours.
• Carrying out light housekeeping to sustain a calm and restful environment.
• Offering companionship and reassurance if clients become awake or distressed.
• Documenting observations and promptly reporting any concerns to the care team.

Candidate Profile

• Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW certificate required).
• Reliable transportation is essential to attend shifts.
• Experience with overnight shifts or managing complex care is preferred.
• Comfort and skill in supporting clients with dementia, cognitive challenges, or restricted mobility.
• Patient, dependable, and compassionate demeanor, especially suited for working independently during overnight hours.
