Overview

This role is centered on delivering a memorable and distinctive experience for guests by fulfilling essential operational tasks throughout the hotel. General Runners play a pivotal role in a variety of departments to provide support by delivering items directly to guest rooms and aiding housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front desk, and other areas as required. The position demands active mobility to ensure efficient hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute items promptly to guests in their rooms.
• Support multiple departments by providing necessary assistance to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, front office, and others.
• Maintain professional conduct, including strict adherence to safety regulations, company guidelines, confidentiality, and high-quality standards.
• Uphold a neat and professional appearance, including uniform and communication standards.
• Engage in physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking extensively, maneuvering in confined or elevated spaces, and using stairs or service ramps.
• Handle objects weighing up to 55 pounds independently, including lifting, pushing, pulling, repositioning, and bending or twisting as needed.
• Perform all reasonable duties as assigned to ensure smooth functioning and guest satisfaction.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work experience necessary.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No special licenses or certifications required.
