Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining crops through tasks such as suckering, lowering, leaf removal, and cluster pruning.
• Harvesting produce and recording yield data accurately.
• Detecting diseases, pests, and physiological disorders affecting crops.
• Performing phytosanitary treatments and introducing biological predators as control measures.
• Applying organic amendments based on crop requirements.
• Conducting tests and monitoring measurements including tensiometer readings, 2:1 tests, and growth measurements.
• Contributing to farm marketing efforts including organic baskets, public markets, and retail shop activities.
• Providing versatile fieldwork support to the team.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent physical stamina with the ability to endure heat and stand for extended periods.
• Background in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field is advantageous.
• Experience in greenhouse vegetable production is a plus.
• Interest in ecological farming, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Desired qualities include reliability, punctuality, a positive attitude, initiative, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.

Working Conditions

• This is a full-time role from now until the end of October, totaling 40 hours per week.
