About the Role
Join Sydney Showground as a casual Food & Beverage Attendant and be part of a vibrant team involved in hosting a diverse range of high-profile events including gala dinners for over 7,000 attendees, concerts, music festivals, major sporting events in ENGIE stadium, and leading industry conferences and exhibitions. This position offers the chance to work with a top events organization, delivering outstanding hospitality services and promoting award-winning Sydney Royal produce and beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service creating memorable experiences for all guests.
- Prepare event areas by setting up and dismantling spaces as required.
- Assist with serving food and beverages, including pouring drinks and clearing tables efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas throughout events.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and company regulations during operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality and/or event settings is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Dependability, punctuality, and integrity in work ethic.
- Possession of a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
