Oracle Fusion HCM Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Oracle Fusion HCM Consultant to support end-to-end implementation and enhancement work across core HR and related HCM areas. This position is centered on Fusion HCM delivery with a strong technical edge, combining functional configuration, integrations, reporting, and Redwood-based user experience work.

The role is based in Bengaluru, India and calls for deep hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM, along with exposure to AI-driven capabilities, Redwood UI customization, and cloud integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy intelligent HR workflows using Oracle AI Agentic Studio for areas such as recruitment screening, onboarding flow orchestration, and talent guidance.
• Use Oracle Generative AI Service to create HR assistants, proactive prompts, and prediction-based dashboards.
• Connect Oracle Digital Assistant with Fusion HCM to support conversational employee and manager self-service journeys.
• Set up AI-enabled features including Skills Advisor, Career Development AI, Dynamic Skills, Workforce Predictions, and HCM Communicate Monitor.
• Customize Redwood pages using Page Composer, Visual Builder Studio, and Application Composer while aligning with persona-based user journeys.
• Create improved employee and manager experiences with Redwood design tokens, themes, responsive layouts, Smart Actions, and Quick Actions.
• Assess Redwood migration requirements and support transition from Classic UI to Redwood for important HCM processes.
• Develop low-code and no-code extensions in VBCS using Fusion HCM REST APIs.
• Build portals, dashboards, and embedded applications within the Fusion HCM interface using VBCS.
• Design event-based integrations between VBCS and Oracle Integration Cloud for HR data movement.
• Create reusable VBCS components and business object models linked to HCM data sources.
• Configure and extend Core HR, Absence, Talent Management, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting processes.
• Develop Fast Formula logic and work with workflows, alerts, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, and HDL/HSDL for data handling and reporting.
• Design REST and SOAP integrations with external systems such as payroll, HRIS, and identity management platforms.
• Carry out Functional Setup Manager configurations and maintain BR100/configuration workbooks.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare activities through implementation and go-live phases.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Oracle Fusion HCM experience with strong techno-functional capability.
• Practical implementation exposure across at least three Core HR (Global HR) modules.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle AI Agentic Studio and generative AI features within Fusion HCM.
• Solid knowledge of Redwood UX tools, including Page Composer, VBS, Redwood themes, Smart Actions, and Quick Actions.
• Strong VBCS development skills with REST API integration, custom page creation, event handlers, and service connections.
• Expert-level understanding of HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Fast Formula for Core HR and Payroll.
• Deep experience in HDL and HSDL for bulk and mass data management.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud for HCM integration scenarios.
• Ability to develop REST and SOAP web services using Fusion HCM APIs.
• Functional knowledge of Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent Management, ORC Recruiting, Compensation, and Benefits.
• Capability to convert complex HR requirements into scalable Fusion HCM solutions and configurations.

Additional information

This is a techno-functional delivery role with roughly 70% technical work and 30% functional work. The position is intended for candidates who can combine configuration, integration, reporting, AI features, and user experience design in enterprise HR transformation projects.
