Job description
Role Overview
This opportunity is for an Ophthalmology Senior Resident and Assistant Professor position at a recognised medical college in Bareilly. The role combines patient care, teaching, academic participation, and departmental support in a hospital-and-campus environment.
Clinical Duties
- Deliver care to patients with a range of general medical concerns.
- Monitor and manage patients in wards as well as outpatient clinics.
- Assess patients through consultations and clinical examination to identify their conditions.
- Admit patients who need specialized attention and proceed with investigations and treatment.
- Carry out relevant procedures, including surgeries and specialist diagnostic investigations.
Teaching and Academic Work
- Instruct medical students in both classroom sessions and clinical postings.
- Guide and support junior residents and medical students in their training.
- Take part in academic events such as seminars, conferences, and workshops.
- Assist in the teaching and supervision of junior doctors and students.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Handle administrative work as delegated by the department head.
Qualification
Applicants should hold an MBBS degree, with MS or DNB considered relevant for the role.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is INR 18 LPA to INR 30 LPA, and the amount is negotiable. Free accommodation is provided within the campus.
