Role overview
The organization is seeking an Operations Executive with strong understanding of supply chain workflows. In this position, you will coordinate people, systems, and day-to-day processes to ensure goods are received and dispatched correctly while helping the team meet productivity goals.
Core responsibilities
- Study shipment records and identify issues or trends.
- Check whether planned deliveries are happening on schedule.
- Monitor stock movement and maintain visibility into inventory levels.
- Raise purchase requests for supplies before shortages occur.
- Continuously look for better ways to run operations and improve efficiency.
- Recommend changes that can raise productivity.
- Streamline employee tasks and workflow distribution.
- Define, monitor, and report key warehouse performance metrics.
- Keep facility equipment in proper working condition through regular upkeep.
- Work closely with colleagues across functions to keep operations aligned.
- Support onboarding, coaching, and performance review of new warehouse staff.
- Track operational costs such as fuel, storage, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role or a comparable position.
- Comfortable working overnight shifts.
- Practical knowledge of process re-engineering methods.
- Strong inventory management capability.
- Ability to interpret data and turn it into useful operational insights.
- Good planning and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
