Overview
The Open Enrollment Specialist acts as a representative of Curative, conducting educational sessions on benefits offered to clients. This role involves leading meetings for new and renewed groups both virtually and face-to-face. Coordination with brokers and client administrators regarding enrollment timelines is essential. Collaboration with Sales Executives, Account Executives, Brokers, and Employer Representatives ensures clients receive comprehensive education about Curative's benefit plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with assigned clients, brokers, and consultants.
- Organize and lead Open Enrollment sessions, both in-person and virtual, to help members make informed benefit selections for themselves and their families.
- Travel punctually to various locations within your region for meetings either onsite or virtually.
- Remain updated on healthcare industry trends, competitor initiatives, and regulatory updates to offer strategic advice to clients.
- Assist the Care Navigation team in coordinating and promoting Baseline visits.
- Provide constructive feedback to assigned Account Executives or Internal Managers to improve communication resources.
Work Schedule
This role is hourly and part-time, with demand fluctuating significantly throughout the year. Work hours generally range from zero to five hours during early weeks of the first and second quarters and may rise to around 30 hours during the fourth quarter. Approximately 75% travel within the designated region is expected.
Candidate Requirements
- At least five years of experience leading Open Enrollment meetings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient presentation abilities tailored to diverse audiences.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare industry practices, trends, and standards.
- Experience engaging with internal teams, clients, brokers, consultants, and external partners at all organizational levels.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe applications.
- Possession of State Health, Life, and Variable Annuity license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an asset.
