Job description

About the Role

This role sits within a food-tech platform that helps businesses manage workplace dining and restaurant partners manage large-order demand. As an Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be the first point of detail-driven setup for new restaurant partners, making sure their information is translated accurately into the platform so they can launch successfully and fulfill orders without friction.

You’ll work across technology tools, process steps, phone and email communication, and cross-functional coordination to qualify incoming partners, build out their profiles, and keep onboarding moving smoothly. The position calls for strong attention to detail, a service mindset, and comfort working in a fast-changing, high-volume environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Use the partner onboarding tool and related automation systems to convert restaurant information into live store setups.
  • Handle several workstreams at once while balancing priorities and service-level expectations.
  • Explain onboarding standards clearly and consistently to both internal teams and restaurant partners.
  • Communicate directly with restaurants that are either joining the platform or expanding their presence on it.
  • Support an efficient, partner-friendly onboarding experience through clear and helpful communication.
  • Work with teammates and stakeholders to improve tools, workflows, and onboarding outcomes.
  • Contribute to process updates, test new approaches, and help implement improvements.
  • Provide practical feedback and stay flexible as onboarding methods evolve.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage many moving parts accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining processes, standards, and timelines.
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Comfort working in a busy environment with frequent changes and competing demands.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking ability for a high-volume queue of tasks.
  • Experience with technical platforms or services; familiarity with HubSpot is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Consistent drive to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to build working relationships across teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team events and gatherings, when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

The total target cash compensation for this role in the U.S. is $50,872 to $60,848 per year, including base pay and bonus target. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location.
