Role Overview
This newly established People Operations Specialist role is part of a lean People team and is designed to strengthen the systems, processes, and operational discipline that support the company’s global workforce. The position reports to the Director of Talent and carries significant ownership from day one. It is a fully remote role, with preference for candidates based in Greater Boston, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle experience, including onboarding materials, I-9 compliance, exit interviews, and offboarding steps that vary by jurisdiction.
- Set up and manage benefits administration for the US, UK, and Singapore, while also maintaining a compliance calendar across multiple countries and supporting transitions from employer-of-record arrangements to direct employment.
- Design and run performance review operations, including scheduling, calibration coordination, template management, and the movement of performance data into the HRIS to support compensation planning.
- Create reporting on new-hire feedback, exit trends, and attrition metrics to help leadership identify patterns and make informed decisions.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in People Operations, HR, Recruiting Operations, Benefits Coordination, or a similar field, preferably in a startup or rapidly growing company.
- Practical experience using modern people systems and tools.
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to identify and solve problems before they escalate.
- Proven ability to manage HR compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions or countries.
- A strong process mindset, including the ability to create documentation and maintain reliable systems over time.
- Excellent accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the maturity to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to step in wherever support is needed.

- Experience supporting distributed or fully remote teams with scalable programs that strengthen connection, engagement, and employee experience.
- Interest in using AI to automate work, improve processes, and shape the future of People Operations.
