We are seeking a Nursing Quality and Outcomes Lead to champion clinical excellence, promote health equity, and ensure measurable improvements across our extensive clinic network.

This role is hands-on and deeply integrated with frontline care. The successful candidate will maintain a clinical practice presence, collaborating closely with Nurse Managers and clinical teams to translate strategic objectives into tangible patient care enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the nursing quality framework at Tend and foster ongoing improvements across all clinics.
• Manage the health outcomes program, focusing on immunizations, proactive screenings, and management of long-term conditions, by converting strategy into actionable steps at the clinic level.
• Deliver performance reports tailored to various stakeholders including clinical teams, senior leadership, Primary Health Organizations (PHOs), and funding bodies.
• Advocate for equity and uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in policy formulation and program development.
• Develop and maintain authentic and trusted relationships with Nurse Managers, clinical leaders, and operational teams nationwide.

Candidate Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New Zealand with extensive experience in primary care or community health.
• A proven history of directing quality improvement initiatives and leading change within clinical teams.
• Strong data literacy skills, able to interpret data insights and implement effective actions.
• A collaborative leadership approach that builds credibility among frontline staff and executive management alike.
• A dedicated commitment to achieving equitable health outcomes for Māori and other priority groups.
