GP & Urgent Care Nurse

Role overview

Tend Health is hiring a GP & Urgent Care Nurse for its Constellation Drive site in Auckland. The role suits a nurse who enjoys working across low-acuity general practice, urgent care, or emergency care settings and wants to practise at the top of their scope. This is a full-time onsite position that also includes a rotational weekend roster.

Working pattern

The ideal availability is at least Wednesday through Friday, with fixed rotating weekend shifts. Fridays are required, and you can choose the weekday or weekdays that are not part of the roster.

What you will contribute

• Provide nursing care in a GP and urgent care environment, with flexibility to support low-acuity and emergency-type presentations.
• Work confidently within the full extent of your nursing scope.
• Take part in a rotational weekend schedule.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team in a modern facility.

What Tend is looking for

• Previous experience in low-acuity general practice, urgent care, or emergency nursing is preferred.
• Strong confidence in independent nursing practice at the top of scope.
• Availability for Fridays and weekend roster participation.
• A collaborative attitude, positivity, and strong communication skills.
