Medical Receptionist - Linwood

About the role

Tend Health Ltd is seeking a part-time medical receptionist for its Linwood practice in Christchurch. This position is a 1.0 FTE role, equal to 40 hours per week, and is suited to someone who understands the meaningful difference a receptionist can make to a patient’s day.

What you will do

• Act as the steady, reassuring first point of contact for patients who may be stressed, uncertain, or confused

• Use the practice’s technology platform to reduce manual tasks and keep attention on patient care
• Work closely with clinical staff in a team environment that values reception expertise
• Handle sensitive or challenging conversations professionally and calmly
