Role overview

This is a chance for a newly qualified solicitor to join a specialist practice focused on criminal, fraud and regulatory matters. Prior criminal law experience is not essential, but the ideal person will bring strong analytical ability, a professional presence, and confidence in a demanding adversarial setting.

What the role involves

You will handle fee-earning work on complex fraud and criminal cases. As you grow in the position, you may also receive further development opportunities, including training to represent suspects at police stations if you are not already trained, along with Crown Court advocacy experience.

Additional legal work exposure

The firm also undertakes coroners’ inquests, regulatory work, and related civil matters such as judicial review claims and proceedings against public bodies. The successful applicant will be exposed to this wider caseload and can build a strong foundation in a broad mix of legal and procedural issues.
