Overview
The North America Human Resources Director role involves comprehensive management and coordination of HR functions across the North America region. This position requires leading the establishment and operation of the HR system for the subsidiaries, aligning the overseas HR teams with the domestic headquarters for integrated management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate-level HR operations for the North America division, ensuring robust HR system development and ongoing management.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and budget controls, including handling both overseas and domestic salary systems, bonus incentives, social security, labor union affairs, and human resource cost budgeting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations locally and internationally, maintain labor contracts and HR policy frameworks, and handle labor dispute risks and employee relations.
- Support organization development by facilitating overseas company restructurings, management cadre handling, implementing performance systems, and attracting and retaining critical talents.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher with over 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in human resource management roles.
- Minimum of 2 years continuous professional experience in North America, demonstrating familiarity with local employment compliance and management practices.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for independent coordination with overseas R&D centers and manufacturing leadership teams.
- Expertise in compensation and benefits, social security, tax management, and human cost control; experience with overseas salary, welfare, and union matters preferred.
- Strong intercultural communication skills; a background in manufacturing, aviation, or advanced equipment industries is advantageous.
