Role Summary
This position is for a sourcer recruiter supporting the North American Operations recruiting team. The role is centered on identifying strong talent in the US market, especially for distribution and operations hiring needs, while working within a collaborative, service-oriented recruiting environment.
What the Role Involves
The recruiter will be expected to handle high-volume sourcing work, manage searches against deadlines, and support internal hiring customers with efficient, quality-focused delivery. Success in the role depends on the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions, work with urgency, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders and candidates.
Sourcing and Candidate Outreach
- Build pipelines of passive candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
- Use Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray/open web methods, trade forums, specialized job boards, and other sourcing channels to identify remote-site talent.
- Create targeted search strings to uncover niche candidates with specialized technical or domain skills.
- Engage prospects in a way that assesses motivation and fit rather than simply pitching the role.
Screening and Evaluation
- Conduct detailed interviews and recruiter phone screens to assess qualification, alignment, and hiring-manager fit.
- Use applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools to evaluate and filter candidates effectively.
- Support candidate management and maintain structured tracking of search progress, deliverables, and timelines.
Recruiting Strategy and Process Improvement
- Recommend sourcing and recruiting approaches that support long-term business growth.
- Improve existing recruiting processes and help introduce new ones that align with customer-quality expectations.
- Work with stakeholders to create practical, creative sourcing solutions and a clear role-based value proposition for candidates.
Schedule and Location
This is a remote role, with hiring locations noted as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Gurgaon. Working hours are 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST.
Team Context
The role sits within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, a central sourcing function for the worldwide talent acquisition organization. The team supports cost-efficient sourcing across Tech, Non-Tech, and high-volume hiring needs across the Americas, Europe, AMET, and India.
Qualifications
Applicants should have experience in passive candidate generation, sourcing initiatives, and recruiting strategy execution. Strong written and verbal communication, urgency, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment are important.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 2 years of experience generating passive candidates.
- Experience building talent pipelines and driving sourcing initiatives.
- Background in corporate or search-firm recruiting, with exposure to candidate generation in a high-tech environment.
- Experience with employer branding, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
