Job description
Position Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive non-medical case management services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS within the community of Frederick County, Maryland. The primary objective is to assist clients in obtaining supportive services, overcoming obstacles to care, enhancing adherence to medical treatment, and fostering overall stability and independence.
Collaboration
The coordinator works closely with healthcare providers, community organizations, and internal teams to deliver client-centered services aligned with the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program standards and the regulations set by the Maryland Department of Health.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent certificate from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of one year in administrative or professional capacity within a healthcare environment.
- Substitutions: Completion of 30 college credit hours can replace the experience requirement. Military service as a commissioned officer in healthcare administration or related specialties may also be substituted on a year-for-year basis for education and experience prerequisites.
