Role Overview
We invite qualified candidates to join our founding Los Angeles team as Medical Records Data Analysts. This role requires managing member medical records and electronic health records (EHR) data with the utmost accuracy, confidentiality, and urgency. Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional ability and a passion for contributing to a groundbreaking, well-funded startup committed to transforming healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain data integrity through thorough registration processes and extraction of historical clinical data.
- Review and update medical records by reconciling discrepancies, alerting healthcare providers when needed, and tracking pending records.
- Accurately input member allergies, medical histories, diagnosis codes, tests, and treatment details.
- Organize EHR patient data by appropriately scanning, labeling, and routing clinical documentation.
- Support collection and archiving of medical records from internal and external healthcare systems.
- Identify and resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies in records, including requesting supplementary information.
- Ensure medical records are maintained securely, well-organized, and readily accessible.
- Collaborate with internal teams to respond to inquiries regarding forms, records, programs, and storage related to medical records access.
- Perform administrative duties and additional tasks assigned by leadership.
Candidate Profile and Requirements

- Associate Degree required; additional credentials such as medical assistant or nursing certification preferred.
- At least two years of experience handling medical records within health care systems.
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems, email communication, internet research, multitasking with diverse software, alongside effective telephone and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
The role offers a salary between $70,000 and $85,000 annually.
