About the Role and Company
Our client is a rapidly expanding financial advisory firm with a growing footprint across Ireland, the UK, and international markets. The company is significantly investing in its Transaction Services and Deals platform, focusing on international growth, technology and AI advancements, and broadening advisory services.
This position offers newly qualified accountants an outstanding chance to enter Transaction Services and develop expertise in Financial Due Diligence. You will be engaged in numerous live deals, gaining comprehensive experience throughout the transaction cycle. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial due diligence by analyzing historical and forecast financial data to identify trends, risks, and commercial factors in transactions.
- Support deal execution by participating in transaction processes from initial review through to completion, gaining full deal lifecycle exposure.
- Perform financial analysis, including reviewing earnings, working capital, cash flows, and other critical metrics to pinpoint investigation areas.
- Deliver commercial insights by understanding the factors driving business performance beyond just the numerical data, addressing the concerns of buyers, sellers, and investors.
- Assist in preparing clear and commercially focused due diligence reports and presentations tailored for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Engage collaboratively with clients, management teams, advisers, and colleagues across Irish, UK, and international Transaction Services teams.
- Develop your technical and commercial skills in transactions within a rapidly growing team that offers promising career progression.
Candidate Requirements
- Newly qualified accountant up to Assistant Manager level.
- Experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, Corporate Finance, Deals, or related M&A advisory roles is highly desirable.
- Candidates with strong audit backgrounds demonstrating excellent financial analysis skills and a commercial mindset will also be considered.
- Ability to analyze financial information effectively, identify key trends, and understand the business drivers behind financial results.
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced transaction environment.
- Excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and confidence to work collaboratively with senior colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Work Environment and Reporting
You will be part of an expanding Transaction Services team in Ireland, integrated within a broader UK and international Deals platform. You will work alongside senior team members and contribute to a strong pipeline of live transactions.
