About New World Saigon Hotel
New World Saigon is a prestigious 5-star hotel located at 76 Lê Lai, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Recognized as one of the most notable hotels in Vietnam, it has been a landmark known by every local resident. Construction began on November 21, 1991, with design by architect TaoHo from TaoHo Design, Hong Kong, and the hotel opened on October 8, 1994. The hotel project was envisioned in 1989 by the Saigon Inn Joint Venture Company (Vietnam side: Saigon Tourism Corporation, foreign side: New World Hotels Ltd.) to meet a 5-star standard. On February 25, 1999, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism officially classified New World Saigon as a 5-star hotel.
Internships Available
Internship positions are open for students majoring in Hospitality and Restaurant Management or Culinary Arts, including:
- Room service internship (HSKP - Guest Rooms)
- Restaurant service internship at Parkview
- Bar service internship at Splash Bar
Seasonal Part-Time Roles
- Reception staff at the hotel lobby: Female candidates preferred with good appearance. Part-time work with flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours per shift, 4-6 days per week. Immediate start possible. Good English communication skills required. Preference given to female university students studying English language, hospitality management, business administration, or related fields. Salary paid hourly.
- Spa massage staff at the Health Club: Female candidates required with professional certificates and experience.
- Restaurant service staff for the Chinese Restaurant and Parkview Restaurant.
Full-Time Positions with Experience
- Room sales executive with hotel experience
- Male telephone operator
- Laundry supervisor
- Chief steward in food hygiene management
- F&B sales manager
- Restaurant managers for Parkview and Dynasty
- Spa and Health Club manager
