Documentation and reporting

  • Prepare and update NDT reports, inspection checklists, inspection formats, calibration logs, and equipment records.

  • Preserve traceability for parts, components, and inspection documentation throughout the process.

Standards and compliance

  • Work in line with ASME, API, ISO, and ASTM requirements.
  • Follow client-specific standards, internal QA/QC procedures, company safety rules, and the quality management system.

Equipment and tools

  • Use and maintain NDT instruments and inspection tools correctly.
  • Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated and certified as required.
  • Handle precision instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial gauges.

Coordination

  • Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, workshop and production teams, and mechanical repair engineers.
  • Assist with client inspections, audits, and third-party inspection activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma, ITI, or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Valid NDT Level II certification.
  • Certification through ASNT, PCN, or ISO 9712.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in NDT for rotating machinery or turbomachinery.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in QC or inspection work within mechanical or repair workshops.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and turbomachinery parts.
  • Familiarity with inspection codes, standards, and technical requirements.
