Role overview

Kimberly-Clark is seeking an experienced National Business Manager to take ownership of its Woolworths New Zealand business. Reporting to the Head of Sales New Zealand, this position is accountable for setting the customer strategy, guiding a team of Customer Managers, and creating mutual value with a major strategic retailer while delivering sales and commercial outcomes.

The role sits within a business known for brands that support everyday life, and it is focused on sustainable, profitable growth through strong customer leadership, sharp execution and cross-functional partnership.

What you will do

  • Achieve net sales value, margin and market share goals while staying within approved trade spend limits.
  • Partner with the Category Development team to shape the national category approach and bring in customer and channel insights.
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of three.
  • Convert national priorities into customer-specific plans, including annual plans, promotional activity calendars and joint initiatives.
  • Support excellent execution and track results, sharing insight and feedback with internal teams.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Field Operations and Marketing to identify and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Develop and sustain strong, value-led relationships with important customer stakeholders.

  • Solid FMCG sales experience, ideally within the grocery channel.
  • Strong experience in customer management or key account roles in the New Zealand market.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and help people grow.
  • Good analytical capability, with exposure to tools or data sources such as Aztec, Dunnhumby or Quantium.
  • Category management exposure is beneficial.
  • Well-developed communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
