Role Overview
The EU Commercial team is seeking a National Account Manager to develop and manage strategic partnerships with retail accounts. The role centres on creating commercial growth opportunities, strengthening account relationships, and securing strong mutual support to maximise the brand’s presence in stores and online.
This position suits someone with a commercial approach, strong numerical ability, and a natural drive to achieve ambitious results. A strong interest in beauty is important, along with the ability to combine strategy, analysis, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain effective relationships across all relevant functions within assigned accounts, including Buying, Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, to strengthen brand visibility and reach.
- Lead commercial discussions covering terms, pricing, distribution, shelf space, store placement, and in-store visibility, working closely with Buying and Merchandising teams.
- Gain a deep understanding of the retail environment, category dynamics, and individual store performance to identify opportunities and shape account strategy.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts for designated retailers and deliver against financial goals, deadlines, and budget requirements while clearly identifying risks and upside opportunities.
- Manage forecasting for new product launches and core ranges, and work closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planning teams to keep stock and assortment plans on track.
- Respond quickly to retail trends and opportunities, ensuring plans are in place to protect and strengthen the brand’s leading position across the estate.
- Work with Regional Marketing, Visual Merchandising, PR, and Store Design to deliver annual retailer plans that cover launches, campaigns, events, and in-store activations.
- Partner with the Retail team, using field insights to shape execution and support trading plans effectively.
Requirements
- Strong prior experience as a National Account Manager, preferably in beauty, luxury, or fashion, though experience from other sectors will also be considered.
- A highly commercial, numerate, and target-oriented approach, with the ability to solve problems creatively.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, along with a strong results focus and proactive mindset.
- Proven capability in negotiation, relationship management, and clear communication.
- Confident presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders while expressing ideas persuasively.
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder management abilities, with ease in handling multiple priorities.
- Experience in managing and coaching others, backed by strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment, while acting as a positive role model.
- The ability to think strategically, assess business impact, and translate ideas into measurable plans.
- Comfort working at pace, prioritising effectively, and managing several deadlines simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial energy and a self-starting attitude.
Why Join
- Be part of a purpose-led, fast-growing business with a mission to help everyone feel like the best version of themselves.
- Work in a flexible hybrid setup.
- Receive 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, along with an extra day off for your birthday.
- Access inclusive parental leave for all parents and carers.
- Benefit from pension and life assurance support.
- Enjoy wellbeing and social benefits such as Medicash, employee assistance programmes, and regular team social activities.
- Use dog-friendly spaces and allocated dog-friendly days at work.
- Benefit from generous product discounts and gifting.
