Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time, on-site Nanny to join a family in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. This role entails providing attentive and nurturing care to children, tailored to their developmental stages and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children's daily activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Create and organize stimulating play and learning experiences that support early development.
• Prepare nutritious and child-friendly meals and snacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment conducive to children's well-being.
• Assist with daily routines including bathing, dressing, and bedtime.
• Collaborate closely with parents regarding schedules and any special requirements.
• Encourage positive behavior and creativity in children throughout the day.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in babysitting and childcare, with experience caring for diverse age groups.
• Understanding of early childhood development principles and emotional support.
• Basic cooking capabilities focused on healthy children’s meals.
• Excellent patience, reliability, and effective communication with both children and parents.
• Ability to uphold cleanliness and safety standards rigorously.
• Preferably certified or trained in childcare, early childhood education, first aid, or CPR.
• Prior experience working as a nanny or similar childcare role, preferably in a home environment.
