August at Purple is a specialized division combining Purple's expertise in PR with August's roster spanning music, sport, and entertainment talents. The team operates globally across music, culture, fashion, and lifestyle, representing a diverse group of artists, creators, and brands.
Internship Opportunity
We invite applications for a short-term internship lasting three to four weeks starting in late August or early September 2026. This role provides hands-on involvement in a PR campaign for a significant international tour launching in September. It is ideal for individuals eager to gain practical experience in music and entertainment public relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on major music, cultural, fashion, and lifestyle media outlets relevant to the tour's geographical locations.
- Identify and confirm accuracy of media contact information.
- Create targeted lists of media personnel and influencers by pinpointing appropriate journalists, creators, and influential figures.
- Support initial communications with press and influencers when suitable.
- Investigate and catalog local reviewers, photographers, and content creators present in tour cities.
- Assist in collecting and organizing press inquiries, interview scheduling, and guest lists for tour events.
- Track media announcements continually and recognize emerging opportunities during the campaign.
- Maintain well-organized databases and spreadsheets to ensure campaign efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Genuine interest in music, entertainment industries, or public relations.
- Excellent research capabilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously after receiving instructions, and proactively seek clarification when necessary.
- Uphold confidentiality due to handling sensitive artist and tour information.
Additional Information
• This internship is unpaid, though reasonable travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed.
• Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
• Location is based at PURPLE's office in London.
