Overview

The Anti-Corruption Commission aims to effectively prevent and combat corruption by promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability for sustainable development in Zambia. They are inviting applications from qualified candidates for multiple positions to support their mission.

Available Roles and Responsibilities

• Head of Information and Communications Technology (1 position): Oversee ICT hardware and software support, ensuring seamless access and service continuity. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, maintenance, security of ICT systems, user capacity building, aligning hardware/network with policies, providing first-line support, disaster recovery planning, and resource management.
• Senior Investigations Officer – Information Technology (1 position): Lead digital forensic investigations including data collection, analysis, recovery, and presentation of evidence. Provide technical support for investigative tools, prepare expert reports, offer courtroom testimony, and advise case teams on digital evidence.
• Corporate Communications Officer (1 position): Manage public relations to build goodwill and confidence. Develop and implement communication strategies, prepare media releases, provide protocol services, update website and social media content.
• Registry Clerk (1 position): Provide clerical support for registry services, handling receipt, distribution, dispatch of correspondence, maintaining file inventories, filing, record updates, and facilitating file movements.
• Driver (2 positions): Perform official driving duties, ensuring safe transportation of personnel and materials, prepare accident reports, maintain log books, inspect and clean vehicles, and report vehicle faults promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Head ICT: Grade 12 certificate, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, licensed member of ICT Association of Zambia, minimum 8 years relevant experience (including 2 years management), aged 38-44.
• Senior Investigations Officer – IT: Grade 12 certificate, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus postgraduate qualification in Digital Forensics, licensed ICT Association member, minimum 3 years relevant experience, aged 35-40.
• Corporate Communications Officer: Grade 12 certificate, degree in Mass Communication or equivalent, licensed member of Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication, aged 30-40.
• Registry Clerk: Grade 12 certificate, Certificate in Records Management or equivalent, aged 25-35.
• Driver: Grade 12 certificate, Driver’s License Class C or higher, certification in automotive mechanics, minimum 2 years experience, aged 30-35.

Skills and Attributes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership, analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills (Head ICT and Senior IT Officer).
• Technical knowledge of ICT hardware, networks, digital forensic tools (e.g., EnCase), operating systems including Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile OS (Android, iOS), Microsoft SQL Server.
• Public speaking, social media management, content creation, media relations, and strategic messaging (Communications Officer).
• Report writing, confidentiality, initiative, computer literacy, and ability to handle clerical and registry tasks efficiently (Registry Clerk and Driver).
• Defensive and alert driving skills (Driver).
