Job description
Role Overview
The Multi Skilled Worker supports daily operations through diverse duties including cleaning, food preparation, meal service, and dishwashing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in residents' rooms and common areas by performing housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with food preparation; set up and clean chairs and tables; serve meals and deliver trays to residents; handle dishwashing and ensure kitchen cleanliness.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, promptly report injuries or hazards to supervisors, and carry out additional reasonable tasks assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid Food Handler Certificate or an equivalent provincial certification.
- Previous experience in housekeeping and food services is advantageous.
- Experience within healthcare or long-term care environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficient in English with capability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
