Housekeeping Room Attendant

Job Overview

This role requires working onsite at a hotel, motel, or resort environment, specifically in Channel-Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Candidates will receive training and no formal degree or certificate is necessary. Fluency in English is expected.

Core Duties

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
• Dusting of furniture surfaces.
• Vacuum cleaning carpets, rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture.
• Making beds and changing bed linens.
• Distributing clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
• Maintaining stock in the linen closet.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Cleaning and sanitizing elevator areas.
• Managing lost and found items by reporting and handling them appropriately.
• Responding to guests' requests for additional supplies or items.
• Cleaning windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Resolving customer complaints or concerns professionally.
