Multi-Drop Delivery Driver (C Licence) - Newcastle West with €2,500 Sign-On Bonus

About the Role

Join Ireland's leading foodservice company, Sysco Ireland, where we are committed to supporting and growing the hospitality industry. We serve thousands of cafés, restaurants, and bars nationwide and are currently expanding our team at the Newcastle West distribution centre with Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers. Successful candidates will receive a €2,500 sign-on bonus, disbursed in three instalments over the first year of employment.

Compensation

The role offers a salary of €43,370 per year along with a tax-free subsistence allowance of €16.50 for each qualifying working day.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform efficient multi-drop deliveries to customers in Limerick and surrounding areas.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Address customer queries promptly and effectively.
• Complete all invoicing and documentation accurately and within designated timescales.
• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and loads for safety and compliance.
• Adhere to all fundamental Food Safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Operate proactively and safely in a fast-moving work environment.
• Consistently meet or exceed accuracy and service expectations.
• Report any damages, accidents, or food safety concerns promptly.

Essential Requirements

• Possession of a valid Full Category C Driving Licence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card.
• Possession of a digital tachograph card.
• Problem-solving ability and sound decision-making skills.
• Competency in preparing and managing paperwork efficiently.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational and task prioritization abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in multi-drop delivery.
• Good geographical knowledge of the delivery region.
• Experience with temperature-controlled deliveries is advantageous but not mandatory as training is provided.
