Role overview
Johnsons Dry Cleaners, part of Timpson Group Limited, is hiring a Mobile Branch Colleague to support branches across the Ripon and Boroughbridge area and nearby locations. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in retail or hospitality who is looking for a fresh, customer-focused career with training and progression.
The position involves working across multiple branches, stepping in to help maintain smooth day-to-day service when a colleague is absent. A full driving licence and access to transport are required because travel between sites is an essential part of the role.
Employment details
This is a permanent full-time position. The role is based around Ripon and Boroughbridge, with coverage across surrounding branches. Working hours are 40 per week across 5 days, including weekends, and some overtime may be available once you are fully trained.
Pay starts at £12.75 per hour and increases to £12.80 per hour after a successful trial period. There is also the chance to earn uncapped weekly bonuses.
What you will do
You will provide branch cover across the area, supporting managers with the daily running of the store and helping ensure customers continue to receive a consistent service.
No previous experience is required, as full training is provided from day one. The company says it will guide new colleagues through the processes needed to build the skills required for the job and develop a long-term career path.
As part of the role, you are also expected to carry out one act of kindness each day for either a customer or a colleague.
