Role Overview

The Account Director will serve as a trusted consultant focusing on the Mid-Market client segment, delivering value through Talent and Learning solutions. This position requires a strategic sales approach that balances revenue goals with client advocacy to ensure customer success and long-term growth.

Key Duties

  • Conducting thorough research on clients' organizations to prepare insightful and relevant discussion points prior to meetings.
  • Employing open-ended, layered questioning strategies to fully understand and clarify client goals and challenges beyond surface details.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with multiple client stakeholders across various organizational levels and departments.
  • Adapting communication style and content to suit the unique needs of different stakeholders.
  • Offering solutions-focused recommendations aligned with customer objectives rather than just products.
  • Maintaining integrity in all sales and client interactions.
  • Facilitating client decisions by promoting shared visions and highlighting value propositions that resonate with all stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of four years in sales roles relevant to this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HR-related software platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of SaaS sales and experience with Dynamics/D365 platform.
  • Background in selling IT solutions.
  • Familiarity with software contract terms ensuring fair agreements.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities and accurate sales forecasting skills.
  • Proven success managing revenue targets and crafting effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with forecasting proficiency.
  • Proven ability to acquire and manage high-level business clients within a highly engaging sales environment.
  • Aptitude for data-driven decision making and influencing stakeholders.
  • Capability to evaluate business openings and understand prospective buyer needs.
  • Skills to coordinate comprehensive business closures with accurate understanding of client requirements.
  • Experience incorporating multiple partners and leadership team members in competitive sales, positioning products effectively against competitors.

Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is between 125000 and 180000 USD OTE annually, with actual compensation reflecting individual skills, experience, certifications, and location. Additional remuneration could include performance bonuses, stock options, benefits, and other incentives.
