The company uses geographic pay bands, and the final offer will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, background, skills, and overall qualifications. The compensation tiers are: Tier 1 (Higher Cost Markets) $89,000 to $105,000; Tier 2 (National Markets) $81,000 to $95,000; and Tier 3 (Lower Cost Markets) $73,000 to $85,000.
About the Company
Paleovalley and Wild Pastures were built around a shared belief that real food can improve people’s health, support animals, and regenerate the planet. What began with a personal journey into nutrient-dense foods grew into a mission-driven brand offering snacks, supplements, and regeneratively raised meats sourced through responsible partnerships with American farmers.
The team describes itself as practical, curious, ambitious, and collaborative, with a strong sense of purpose and a willingness to challenge the conventional food system. The business is growing quickly and is focused on creating lasting impact through better ingredients and regenerative agriculture.
About the Opportunity
The company is seeking an experienced Meta Media Buyer to take end-to-end ownership of paid social growth for Wild Pastures across Facebook and Instagram.
This position is responsible for strategy, execution, optimization, and scaling of the Meta account to drive profitable customer acquisition for a subscription-based e-commerce business. The role includes close partnership with the creative team to produce and refine high-performing ads.
This is a performance-focused role for someone who likes solving difficult marketing problems, using data to challenge assumptions, and finding new ways to improve results. You will work closely with creative strategists, editors, designers, and leadership to convert campaign insights into better creative and stronger business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Meta as a core growth channel for Wild Pastures by managing campaign strategy, account structure, budget distribution, optimization, and scaling across Facebook and Instagram.
- Improve profitable growth for a subscription business by tracking and acting on metrics such as ROAS, MER, nCAC, CPA, LTV, and payback efficiency.
- Plan and run disciplined testing programs across creative, offers, landing pages, campaign setup, and bidding approaches.
- Work with creative strategists, editors, and designers to shape new concepts, review assets before launch, and share clear performance-based feedback.
- Use campaign data to guide creative direction by spotting patterns, effective messaging, audience trends, and new opportunities.
- Review account performance every day, identify issues or opportunities early, investigate causes, and communicate recommendations proactively.
- Keep current on Meta platform updates, measurement changes, attribution practices, and new direct-response advertising trends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience managing Meta ads for subscription e-commerce or direct-response brands.
- Proven ability to acquire customers profitably for subscription businesses, with a strong grasp of CAC, LTV, retention, churn, and payback period.
- A history of scaling successful campaigns while handling substantial advertising budgets.
- Experience running a Meta account from strategy through execution and optimization.
- Strong analytical ability and curiosity for diagnosing performance problems.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing metrics and how they influence business growth.
- Experience optimizing for subscription economics, not only first-purchase revenue, with attention to customer quality and long-term value.
- Comfort using analytics and attribution tools beyond Ads Manager, such as GA4, Haus, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
- Strong creative judgment and a good sense of what makes direct-response advertising effective.
- Ability to turn performance findings into actionable creative guidance.
- Experience collaborating with creative teams on briefing, iteration, and testing.
Bonus Experience
Additional value will be given to candidates with experience marketing premium food, health, wellness, supplement, or direct-to-consumer subscription brands; working in high-growth ecommerce businesses; using AI-based campaign optimization or newer Google ad technologies; applying creative testing frameworks and direct-response methods; or a strong personal interest in regenerative agriculture, nutrient-dense food, health, or wellness.
Perks and Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with dental and vision fully paid by the employer and a small monthly medical premium for employees; dependents can be covered at employee expense.
- Generous paid time off to support rest and balance.
- Paid sick leave.
- Six paid holidays per year.
- Paid parental leave.
- Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance fully paid by the company.
- 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match after one year of service.
- Monthly product stipend or access to imperfect damaged product so you can enjoy the foods you help promote.
Employment Terms and Compliance
The employer is an equal opportunity company and makes decisions based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. Reasonable accommodations are available during the hiring process upon request.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The company cannot sponsor employment visas, including H-1B, TN, or OPT, and any offer depends on successful Form I-9 completion and work authorization verification. The company participates in E-Verify.
Technology-assisted tools may be used to help organize and review applications, but final hiring decisions are made by the internal team.
This role remains open until it is filled.
