Role Overview and Responsibilities

We are in search of a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to spearhead the sourcing, assessment, and execution of acquisition opportunities within the US market. This hands-on role suits individuals adept in analytical evaluation, negotiation, and transaction structuring in a fast-paced and lean team environment.

• Identify and evaluate acquisition prospects within the low- to mid-market sector across multiple industries.
• Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence to thoroughly analyze target companies.
• Develop transaction structures including special purpose vehicles (SPVs), financing arrangements, and partnership frameworks.
• Lead negotiations with company sellers, advisors, and stakeholders to achieve advantageous terms.
• Work closely with company leadership and external collaborators to ensure acquisitions support broader growth strategies.
• Create comprehensive investment memos, presentations, and reports for review by executives and investors.
• Oversee post-acquisition integration and track performance indicators to guarantee value realization.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA or CFA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of five years experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, or investment banking, particularly with US-based deals.
• A strong command of deal structuring, company valuation, and financial modeling techniques.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing acquisitions in the low- to mid-market arena.
• Exceptional negotiation skills paired with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to excel within a lean, entrepreneurial team dynamic.
