About the Role
Advantage Solutions is looking for a Retail Team Lead in merchandising to help improve in-store shopping experiences and support retail execution across stores in St. Catharines, Ontario. The position is part of a large team serving thousands of brands and retail customers across many countries, with a focus on helping teammates grow through support, learning, and career development.
Role Summary
In this position, you will assist retailers with merchandising activities that help meet shopper demand and improve sales opportunities. Work will include setting up displays and end caps, resetting shelves, and supporting store presentation standards. You will also assist leadership with reporting and training-related tasks.
What You'll Do
- Support in-store merchandising activities for retail partners.
- Build displays and end caps to improve product visibility and sales potential.
- Reset shelves and maintain planogram compliance where required.
- Assist leadership with reporting and training support.
- Carry out physically active work, including bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Use a smartphone or tablet to document completed work after each shift.
- Travel locally within the assigned area as needed.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in merchandising and/or planogram work.
- Ability to do physically demanding tasks such as moving, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort using a smartphone or tablet for shift reporting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to travel independently within the local territory.
Schedule and Work Conditions
The role is scheduled for Monday through Thursday, with early start times. Night shifts and weekend work are not required. The schedule is flexible.
Compensation
Pay is CAD $17.65 to CAD $18.00 per hour. Growth opportunities are available, and internal promotion is encouraged.
