Job Summary

The Men's Buyer will oversee the design and implementation of merchandising strategies across full-price retail locations, with objectives focused on maximizing sales, profit margins, and inventory turnover. This role demands a mix of trend awareness and data-driven insight, collaborating closely with multiple teams to craft and deliver product ranges that respond directly to customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct merchandising approaches for both physical Stores and E-commerce to tailor consumer-centric assortments that drive sales volume.
  • Work alongside Global Merchandising and Planning teams to support seasonal product rollouts and anticipate future product requirements.
  • Manage the entire merchandise lifecycle and oversee in-season business operations including markdowns, returns to vendor (RTVs), inventory allocation, replenishment, and delivery scheduling.
  • Compile and analyze weekly sales reports, quarterly performance reviews, and other analyses to spot trends and advise actionable business strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication and cooperation with Store teams, Visual Merchandising, and E-commerce to promote sales, provide product training, and achieve performance targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with field teams to ensure assortments align effectively with regional market needs.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Assistant Buyer to enhance team performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Buyer, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Specialized expertise in men's fashion merchandising.
  • Experience working within luxury or contemporary apparel brands.
  • Experience operating within multi-channel vertical retail environments.
  • Strong commercial insight, effective communication skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Adaptable, driven, and forward-thinking mindset.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $110,000 annually, dependent on the candidate’s experience and expectations.
