About the Company
Westfield FC has been a fixture in its local football community since 1950, bringing more than 75 years of history to the club. The team currently plays in the 8th tier of English football and is supported by a forward-looking investor group focused on creating a sustainable, community-led club with room for long-term expansion.
The club’s ambition is to move up through the English football pyramid and, in time, reach the English Football League through thoughtful investment, steady leadership, and strong local engagement. Each season, Westfield FC also takes part in FA Cup and FA Trophy qualifying rounds, creating opportunities to compete on a national stage while advancing the club’s goals on and off the field.
About the Role
Westfield FC is looking for experienced professionals, founders, sports leaders, investors, and football supporters to join its Board of Advisors. In this position, advisors will help raise the club’s profile, broaden its network, uncover strategic opportunities, and contribute to the team’s long-term development.
The club is especially interested in advisors based in Singapore who can represent Westfield FC and support its presence in that market and within local networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent and advocate for Westfield FC within your professional and personal circles.
- Connect the club with prospective sponsors, business partners, investors, and other strategic contacts.
- Offer insight on club growth, marketing, fundraising, commercial partnerships, and community-focused initiatives.
- Contribute to revenue-building and brand-enhancing efforts when suitable.
- Attend occasional advisory sessions and share input on major priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A genuine interest in football and the wider sports business landscape.
- Background as an executive, founder, investor, advisor, or senior business professional.
- A well-developed network that can help support the club’s expansion.
- Interest in sports investment, football operations, sponsorship, or community development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships.
Compensation & Benefits
This advisory position is compensated through sweat equity, tied to the advisor’s contribution and the long-term success of Westfield FC. Advisors may help influence the club’s strategic direction, work closely with the ownership group, grow their network in the football world, and take part in an exciting sports investment journey.
