Role overview
This full-time opportunity is for a Member of Technical Staff, Finance Research working remotely from anywhere. The position is focused on advanced financial research and analysis that supports investment decisions and broader strategic planning. You will work alongside teams from different functions to build models and frameworks that improve financial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Create and deploy quantitative models to study financial markets, market movements, and investment opportunities.
- Perform detailed research on financial instruments, macroeconomic indicators, and developments within specific sectors.
- Build and improve algorithms that support automated financial analysis and decision-making.
- Partner with data science and engineering teams to turn research findings into scalable solutions.
- Share research conclusions and recommendations with stakeholders, including senior leaders.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong programming ability in Python, R, or comparable languages used for financial modeling and analysis.
- Hands-on experience analyzing financial data such as market information, financial statements, and economic metrics.
- Solid foundation in quantitative finance, econometrics, or a closely related discipline.
- Capability to design, test, and validate financial models and algorithms.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating them into practical insights.
