Role Summary

The Marketing & Event Planning Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting a variety of marketing efforts, with a focus on organizing events and developing all related promotional materials including digital content. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position offers unique cross-unit collaboration in a dynamic financial services environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute corporate events by selecting venues, obtaining and negotiating vendor bids, managing contracts, and coordinating all logistics such as food, travel, lodging, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain and manage web-based meeting functionalities, including registration portal creation and administration.
  • Engage proactively with event participants to identify and address their needs before and during events, developing effective outreach processes.
  • Provide onsite problem-solving and ensure smooth event operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality, Tourism, or Travel Management.
  • Experience in corporate event planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Creative thinking coupled with well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables and follow-through.
  • Competent in managing multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently and within fast-paced teams.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range offered for this role is $72,000 to $92,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible to participate in company variable compensation programs.
