Role Overview

The Social Media Coordinator will manage the daily digital engagement and representation of Sunny's and the new concept, After Hours. This part-time role blends content development, community interaction, storytelling, publishing across platforms, and creative collaboration. Working under the Digital Media Operations Manager and with the creative team, the coordinator will maintain an active, polished, and brand-aligned social media presence. This position offers excellent growth potential into broader digital marketing and brand management roles.

Key Duties

  • Manage and post on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Facebook Groups, and Nextdoor.
  • Schedule and deploy approved content as per content calendars, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Maintain engaging, active, and visually cohesive stories and real-time content on weekdays.
  • Plan and suggest weekly content and publishing strategies, collaborating on campaigns and identifying trends and creative opportunities.
  • Engage authentically with audiences by responding to comments, tags, and community discussions to foster stronger brand loyalty.
  • Lead community marketing efforts on Facebook Groups and Nextdoor, tailoring messages for local audiences and supporting various campaigns and events.
  • Assist creative production by working with videographers during content shoots, offering feedback and ensuring content aligns with campaign goals.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience managing social media accounts for brands, agencies, hospitality, or creators.
  • In-depth knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Nextdoor, and up-and-coming social trends.
  • Strong written communication with skillful copywriting and brand voice adaptation for various platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Comfortable with feedback and structured approval workflows.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining brand standards.
  • Availability for occasional content shoots and marketing events.

Work Schedule and Reporting

  • Part-time engagement up to 20 hours weekly with flexible hours aligned with content calendars, campaigns, and shoots.
  • Reports directly to the Digital Media Operations Manager and collaborates with creative teams and the Chief Marketing Officer.
